All donations to our Journey Home Campaign will be matched 100% by an Anonymous Donor.
On the heels of marking 10 years and 10,000 adoptions of rescued animals, Nate’s Honor Animal Rescue is setting out to reach a new milestone in its history of saving the lives of homeless and at-risk animals.
The Journey Home campaign will fund much-needed new construction and campus improvements that will double dog capacity and increase cat capacity by 25 percent.
The enhanced campus plans for The Ranch include a new 20,000-sq.-ft. Welcome and Adoption Center and a 3,500-sq.-ft. Intake Building that will increase the nonprofit organization’s rescue, animal care and adoption capabilities in order to keep pace with the ever-growing challenge of helping the abandoned and neglected cats and dogs. The Welcome Center will feature a state-of-the-art veterinary clinic, full-service grooming center, casual dining café with views of the cat habitat, and warm, welcoming event rooms, allowing for greater community outreach and a wider scope of services. Other site improvements include a new dog water play area and covered patio, multi-purpose open green space, walking path to help dogs learn to walk on a leash, fenced play area and training center.
Major donors to Journey Home will be recognized through naming opportunities for their individual, family or corporate contributions. The new buildings and redeveloped campus features will offer a wide range of naming rights and donation possibilities.
Journey Home marks a historic milestone for the animal rescue organization which started in 2008 with a small group of volunteers who shared a passion for helping animals in need of rescue. The Ranch is currently comprised of 13 dog and cat cottages, a kids’ playground and a temporary trailer for veterinary and adoption services. Nate’s Honor Animal Rescue saves more than 2,000 cats and dogs each year.
